The Soap Story

Long before botanicals were tucked into oils and lye, the villagers of the northern isles told a quiet tale about Midwinter Spring—the rare, hopeful week when winter loosened its grip just enough for the first herbs to whisper through the frost.

According to legend, three guardians watched over this in-between season:
The Keeper of Calm cared for the purest lavender fields, believed to soothe wandering spirits and weary hearts. Travelers would carry sprigs from her garden tucked into their cloaks to keep nightmares away.

The Herb-Wise Sage blended lavender with the forest’s earliest sage leaves. Folklore said his mixture sharpened intuition and protected homes during long winter nights. Villagers hung bundles above their doors, trusting the sage’s crafted balance to guard against misfortune.
